The endocrine system is a system consisting of the endocrine glands. Endocrine glands are the organs that allow the formation of hormones. Endocrine organs; hypothalamus, pituitary, pineal, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, thymus, adrenal gland (shell-Cortex and centre-medulla), pancreas, gonads, ovaries, testicles are.  

Endocrinology is a branch of science studying molecules called hormones providing communication between the tissues released from endocrine glands and the diseases of that are connected to these. All tissues and organs that make up the hormones are called "endocrine system”.  Endocrinologist is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic diseases and diseases that affect glands and hormones, namely, endocrine system.
