Diagnosis and treatment of digestive system are conducted in Kent Hospital Gastroenterology Clinic. Within this context, stomach, esophagus, small and large intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas organs and diseases occurred with these organs are the study area of Gastroenterology Clinic.  

In Gastroenterology Clinic;

Besides, diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, removal of bile duct stones, stent placement, polypectomy applied to colon polyps are conducted.   

Follow-up of liver diseases (chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis) and scerotherapy and band ligation treatments of esophageal varicose occurred due to liver biopsy and cirrhosis are performed. 

Digestive system bleeding (ulcers, depending on aspirin etc.) is monitored following the first treatment performed in emergency service of our hospital; treatments such as injection for bleeding, bipolar electrocoagulation and clip application are implemented and again embolization is performed in interventional radiology department of our hospital for the patients whose bleeding cannot be stopped. 

Tube is inserted to the patient's stomach in advanced ages or where failure of being fed depending on brain damage (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy - PEG) and its follow-up and care are maintained in the following periods.
