Information for Visitors

Attendant Policy 

Every patient is entitled to stay with an attendant unless it is medically disadvantegous and except bone marrow transplantation unit and intensive care units.

The number of attendant is limited to 1 person.

“Patient attendant form” is filled out by the relevant staff in line with the information provided by the attendant and the attendant signs the form.

The attendant helps the care of the patient as allowed.

The attendant is obliged to follow all rules imposed by the hospital.

Visitor Policy 

Maximum 1 visitor is allowed at the emergency service treatment unit simultaneously.

Patients can be visited between 07.00 and 22.00 at inpatient treatment services every day (except floor 4 and 1). 

Patients at the 1st fllor at the floor 1 can be visited between 11.00-12.00, 15.00-16.00, 19.00 – 20.00.

Patients at the bone marrow transplant ation unit can be visited between 14:00 and 16:00.

Maximum 2 visitors can visit the patient in order at the intensive care units. 

Only mother and father can visit the baby at newborn intensive care unit.

Intensive Care Units –Visiting Hours:

General intensive care; 11.00 - 19.00 

Cardiovascular Surgery intensive care; 10.00 - 20.00

Coronary intensive care; 10.00 - 19.00 

Neo natal intensive care; 14.00 - 16.00.

The physician may increase the frequency of visits to the patient according to the medical condition of the patient.

If the physician prohibits visit and/or attendance, please follow the directions.

Children younger than 12 years old cannot visit the patient (Visitor can only be admitted to and floor 2 delivery unit with the approval of security).

Fresh flower is not accepted at patient care units.

Food and drink is not accepted in patient care units.

Smoking is only allowed in the cafeteria area within the hospital.
